Which Method to Support Multicriteria Decision Making Systematically in IS Engineering?

Résumé

Many decisions are made in the field of Information Systems (IS) engineering. On the other hand, many methods are also available to support decision-making in a systematic way. In this paper, we investigate the issues of the selection and application of multicriteria (MC) decision-making methods in the IS engineering domain. Our approach helps modeling decision-making situations at two levels. Based on this, our approach guides the selection and application of MC methods systematically depending on the situation at hand.
